Taking on Abortion One Step at a Time

ACU for Life educates all students on the Abilene Christian campus about the pro - life issue. We seek to equip pro - life students to defend life in this world. We are a nonpartisan group with a passion for serving God by protecting all human life from conception until natural death. Members of ACU for Life work to save lives by promoting discussion, educating students on pro-life issues, volunteering on campus and in the community, and supporting pregnant and parenting students at ACU through the provision of resources and financial support.

There are multiple ways to give to ACU for life.

You can give cash or a check made out to ACU for Life during one of our chapels. We are currently fundraising for our Pregnant and Parenting Student Scholarship, if you wish to donate directly to that the deadline for 2025 - 2026 is April 10th (You can still donate after then, it simply applies to 2026-2027). If you wish to mail the check or deliver it outside of the chapel, please contact our Chair of Scholarships and Services, Eliza Anderson at [email protected]

We have chapel on Thursdays for Abilene Chistian University students in the Bible Building, room 130, at 5:00 pm, to pray, learn and work together on the abortion issue.

The scholarship Application Deadline is March 18th, 2025.

The deadline to give to the 2025/2026 scholarship is April 10th, 2025.

ACU for Life now offers Dialog training created by the Equal Rights Institute after chapel on Thursdays to teach pro - life advocates how to think and talk about abortion. The training is led by Abby Driesner, please reach out to her at chapel if you have any questions.

We have started a babysitting program! ACU for Life now encourages representatives to sign up to provide free babysitting for moms on the ACU campus. For more information on that please contact Shawnakay Dudley at [email protected].

The Scholarship

Apply for the Pregnant and Parenting Student Scholarship

The pregnant and parenting student scholarship is for ACU students who are parents to a child under 12. It is designed to alleviate some of the financial burden of having a child while in college. It is a one-time, one semester, scholarship, usually ranging from $500 - 1,500 a person. The scholarship opened November 1st 2024 and deadline to apply is March 18th, 2025. If you have applied for the scholarship you will be notified via email by April 11th if you have received it.
